Maintech Power achieves ISO 45001 accreditation, reinforcing commitment to health and safety across High Voltage operations

Maintech Power, the High Voltage (HV) installation and maintenance specialist, has secured ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management, further highlighting its commitment to safety across its nationwide operations.

Based in Ipswich, Maintech Power, which is part of Fulcrum Group, delivers HV installation, testing and maintenance services to more than 400 clients across the renewable energy, industrial, education, transport and healthcare sectors. Its work spans critical infrastructure projects including wind farms, solar farms, battery storage schemes, universities and NHS facilities, where maintaining the highest safety standards is essential.

The ISO 45001 accreditation, awarded following a comprehensive independent audit, recognises the strength of Maintech Power’s health and safety management systems and its proactive approach to protecting employees, clients and the public.

Fulcrum Group continues to invest in strengthening its safety culture across the business, ensuring that best practice is consistently applied across all operations as it supports essential infrastructure across the UK.

The achievement follows the earlier certification of Fulcrum Multi-Utility Operations and forms part of the Group’s ongoing programme to implement a unified safety framework across all of its specialist divisions.

Achieving ISO 45001 at Maintech Power reflects the critical importance of safety in the environments our teams operate in every day.

From live infrastructure to complex maintenance programmes, our colleagues work in demanding conditions, and this accreditation demonstrates our commitment to equipping them with the systems, training and leadership needed to work safely and confidently.
